Initially heartbroken, Bella finds a form of comfort in a carefree life, as well as an even closer friendship with Jacob Black. However, a minor accident during the festivities results in Bella’s bloodshed, a scene that proves too intense for the Cullens, who decide to leave the city of Forks, Washington for the sake of Bella and Edward.
